Fragrant Sweat is the musical solo project of Austrian singer, songwriter, drummer and multi-instrumentalist Jennifer Gitschner. She plays drums in the bands Das Schottische Prinzip and Kong Fusion, and guitar in Hirng'spinster. In 2024 she contributed to the album Alltagsnummern by the project LD Smash. Together with musicians such as Lisa-Maria Hollaus and Daniela Czurda, she explores socially critical themes with a sound that lies between rock and Viennese folk songs.
Beyond her work as a musician she is active in sound design, including the sound design for the SLASH Film Festival. Jennifer Gitschner represents a new generation of female artists who stand out in the Austrian music scene for their versatility and creative expressiveness.
